Job Description
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this Human Resources Development Specialist will collaborate across the People & Culture and Workforce Planning teams to support our team and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in recruitment and selection processes, providing advice and support to leaders, generating contracts, coordinating onboarding, and processing employment changes.
- Support the review and monitoring of resourcing to ensure adequate operational coverage and make recommendations to department managers in support of recruitment activities.
- Support and review rostering and timesheet processes to maintain strong compliance with agreement and industrial requirements, identify areas for improvement, and provide assurance activities over transactional pay data.
- Generate reporting and analyze people data to support effective business decision-making.
- Assist in maintaining accurate workforce records, such as absence reviews, file notes, IFA's, and other documentation as relevant.
- Support the People and Culture team with HR policy and process interpretation and advice, providing first-level operational support/guidance to managers and individual employees where appropriate.
Requirements
We seek a detail-oriented professional with a solutions-focused approach, looking to grow and develop their skills. Essential qualifications include working knowledge of Australian employment and HR best practices, data analysis skills, and strong organizational abilities. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume rostering/payroll environment, is required. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, or a related field are highly regarded.
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an attractive range of benefits, including free entries to DreamWorld, discounts on purchases, and free parking. The location of this full-time position is Coomera, AU-QLD.
