About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the People & Culture and Workforce Planning functions at Ardent Leisure Group. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in recruitment and selection processes by providing advice and support to leaders, generating contracts, coordinating onboarding, and processing employment changes.
  • Supporting the review and monitoring of resourcing to ensure adequate operational coverage and making recommendations to department managers in support of recruitment activities.
  • Reviewing and maintaining rostering and timesheet processes to ensure compliance with agreement and industrial requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and providing assurance activities over transactional pay data.
  • Generating reporting and analyzing people data to support effective business decision-making.
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate workforce records, including absence reviews, file notes, IFA's, and other relevant documentation.
  • Providing HR policy and process interpretation and advice to the People and Culture team, as well as first-level operational support and guidance to managers and individual employees where necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a similar capacity, preferably with exposure to high-volume rostering/payroll environments and human resources activities. A tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, or a related field will be highly regarded. You should possess strong organizational skills, data analysis abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. As a detail-oriented professional with a solutions-focused approach, you'll thrive in this fast-paced environment and contribute significantly to the success of our team.
