About the Role

The Principal Enterprise Architect will drive development and assurance of whole of government technology & architecture standards ensuring continued delivery of value and meaningful outcomes.

The architecture team aims to increase reuse, reduce technology legacy and drive greater adoption and implementation of best technology and architecture in projects & products across all departments of Government.

To be successful, you need strong consulting skills, motivation by continuous new challenges & problems to solve, technical savvy, and ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be a thought leader in how to use current and emerging digital technologies and architectures.
  • Advise government agencies on breaking down big digital programs/problems into start small approaches.
  • Create, implement, and measure standards related to platforms reuse, reduction of legacy technology, and emerging technology.
  • Collaborate across NSW Government with partner agencies and customers to understand strategic problems, linking to existing solutions, synthesizing and presenting actionable insights.
  • Contribute to strategies and roadmaps resulting in cross agency seamless customer experiences, increased public servant efficiencies & industry productivity.
