Business Manager Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Business Manager to play a crucial role in driving sales deals, forecasting, and conducting quarterly business reviews.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the vendor strategy in collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Establish strategic priorities, key initiatives, and measurable outcomes aligned with vendor objectives.
  • Drive deal commercials, forecasting, and provide support to sales teams.
  • Coordinate activity plans with marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Prepare and run quarterly or half-yearly business reviews, including content presentation.
  • Ensure vendor plans have appropriate resourcing and funding for maximum profitability.
  • Enable sales team with necessary tools to sell and support vendor's product range.
  • Communicate technology updates, promotions, and new products to sales, operations, and finance teams.
  • Support vendor cross-sell and up-sell efforts through established methodology.
  • Launch new vendor programs and products, ensuring internal teams are informed and prepared.
  • Understand and report on competitive vendors and distributors.
  • Support reseller recruitment and management activities.
  • Optimize the use of marketing development funds (MDF) to support channel activity plans.
  • Coordinate campaign execution, including lead generation, enablement, events, promotions, and content.
  • Use Salesforce for activity/campaign tracking and follow digital marketing briefing processes.
  • Ensure website content is up-to-date with vendor marketing programs and promotions.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with vendor's channel leadership, marketing, and sales teams.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in channel partner and vendor management, sales support, and driving deals.
  • Experience in the IT industry with knowledge of Data Centre, Cyber Security, and Cloud technologies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide insights.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
