Job Opportunity: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team of health professionals.

As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support and companionship to individuals living in their own homes.

Our approach prioritizes long-term relationships, quality of care, and personalized support, ensuring that every individual can live comfortably and confidently in their own home for as long as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing companionship and support at home
  • Assisting individuals with daily activities
  • Undertaking tasks outside the home, such as shopping, appointments, outings, and group activities
  • Domestic assistance: assisting with cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and housework

You will possess the ability to engage with our valued consumers and participants, enhancing their wellbeing and self-esteem through rewarding activities and discussions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Aged Care and/or Disability Sector or healthcare industry (optional)
  • Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured motor vehicle
  • National Criminal Clearance Check conducted within the last 12 months
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Evidence of COVID vaccination
  • A reliable smartphone
  • The right to work in Australia
