Grounds Maintenance Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team in beautiful Bawley Point.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about maintaining exceptional grounds that provide a unique experience for visitors by combining beautiful architecture with the latest technology and love of horses.

  • Lawn and grounds maintenance, including brush cutting, weeding, spot spray, pruning, garden maintenance, fencing, mulching, and plant care
  • Landscape maintenance, including fertilizing trees and gardens, pruning and removing shrubs and trees, spraying pesticides and herbicides, installing irrigation infrastructure, and mulching
  • Driving vehicles, operating equipment such as woodchippers, bobcats, tractors, and excavators, painting fences, performing chainsaw work, assisting contractors, maintaining irrigation systems, turfing, seeding, transplanting trees, and unloading trucks for horse feed

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. A Manual drivers license is required.

Duties Include:

  • Maintaining the presentation of the precinct, ensuring all areas are clean, swept, dusted, cobwebs removed, blown, and waste removal
  • Assisting in maintaining the upkeep of the exceptional grounds that first-rate horses reside in
  • Supporting the facility's operations by providing efficient and effective maintenance services

Requirements:

  • Manual drivers license
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
