Civil Technical Lead Role

Drive business expansion through strategic marketing, client engagement, and consistent project execution.

  • Oversee project delivery from concept design to construction, ensuring technical excellence
  • Contribute to business growth initiatives, including maintaining and expanding existing relationships
  • Identify new opportunities and lead strategic planning efforts
  • Manage project finances, including fee proposals, resourcing, and budgeting
  • Mentor and guide engineers, modellers, and drafters, fostering a high-performance team culture
  • Peer review of design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums
  • Improve systems, processes, and design standards for continual growth and success

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years' relevant project experience in consulting or engineering
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Civil Engineering)
  • CPEng/NER accreditation
  • Registered Design Practitioner or on pathway to achieve, highly desirable
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams and projects
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • A track record of driving business performance through technical and commercial contributions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and influence
  • A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for growing business and people
  • Experience in civil related design and delivery of land development and building projects
