Lead Technical Designer
About the Role:
You will oversee a team of designers, manage projects across urban and regional developments, and drive technical success.
Manage and mentor a design team to deliver compliant and high-quality water and sewer designs.
Oversee end-to-end design and documentation of water and sewer infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Represent the organization in client meetings with architects, builders, developers, and contractors to communicate project progress.
Support leadership and contribute to building team culture and new business opportunities through strategic planning and project coordination.
Collaborate closely with drafters and other disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
Key Requirements:
10+ years' experience in civil engineering/design preferably with a WSC background.
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
Relevant project experience and/or Sydney Water accreditation.
Strong Civil 3D and/or 12D software skills for efficient project delivery.
Proven leadership, project management, and client engagement capabilities.
