About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Team Director to lead our Workers Compensation team in Canberra.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving a positive culture and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with your team to achieve performance and KRA targets, and facilitate continuous improvement in RTW and customer outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Cultivate high-performing teams by coaching, guiding, and managing individual performances.
  • Empower team members to achieve their full potential through training, development, and resources allocation.
  • Monitor staff workloads, conduct performance appraisals, and manage team resources effectively.
  • Implement business strategies that drive outcomes and facilitate goal achievement.
  • Foster teamwork across departments and develop effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Resolve disputes, complaints, and escalations professionally.

About You

  • You have experience leading, mentoring, and coaching individuals or teams to achieve desired results.
  • You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • You can think strategically about complex issues and develop solutions that drive successful resolutions.
  • You have a proven track record of building strong client relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
  • You possess knowledge of injury management, premium calculation, and cost of claims.
  • Prior experience in managing claims under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 is desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
