Job Description

ClearCompany is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator and System Engineer to join our team in Brindabella Business Park, Canberra. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for developing and operating a Windows server platform, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services, and WSUS. You will also design, test, and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system, build and maintain system images, and provide integration for VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration:
    • Develop and operate a Windows server platform, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services, and WSUS.
    • Design, test, and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system.
    • Build and maintain system images.
    • Provide integration for VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Integrate and support management of security software and configurations.
    • Implement regular checks to confirm system health status, including hardware and software.
  • Backup and Recovery:
    • Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualized Windows systems.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies, including Exchange, WSUS, MECM.
  • Experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in administering Omnissa (VMware EUC) and Citrix Cloud technologies.
  • Deployment and imaging technology troubleshooting.
System Engineer - Technical Lead

As a System Engineer - Technical Lead, you will provide design assistance and lead the design process and communication within the team to enable the development of solutions that meet current and future project needs. You will also develop, implement, and manage engineering artefacts, which deliver capabilities required to enable project direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Engineering:
    • Provide design assistance and lead the design process and communication within the team.
    • Develop, implement, and manage engineering artefacts.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage project level engineering risks and issues escalated to the program by supervisors, peers, business stakeholders, and project managers.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Develop reports and acceptance documentation.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Systems Engineer.
