Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Townsville University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of the continuum of care and high-quality services for patients requiring the services of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and strategic planning for the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Lead and manage the provision of medical services in accordance with the standards of the specialty, the ethics of the profession, and in accordance with Townsville HHS and Queensland Health policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Women's & Children's Service Group Director and across other THHS Service Groups to ensure effective day-to-day operations of the service and share accountability for meeting relevant service delivery safety and quality measures.
As a Clinical Director with Queensland Health, you will enjoy a generous remuneration package, including a salary range of $ to $ p.f., 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading, 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation, and a range of other benefits.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified medical practitioner with qualifications in speciality areas and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia. FRANZCOG is highly desirable. All applicants must be awarded So CP by the THHS Credentialing and So CP committee.
