About the Role

Cochlear is seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager to lead change management strategies for key projects. This role ensures effective identification, assessment, and management of change impacts to support successful project outcomes.

The Senior Change Manager will work closely with stakeholders to align change initiatives with both project goals and Cochlear's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Analyze and interview stakeholders to align project goals with their expectations.
  • Impact Assessment: Identify and assess change impacts to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement tailored change management plans.
  • Communication & Engagement: Deliver clear, targeted messaging to internal and external audiences.
  • Leadership & Advisory: Guide change initiatives and support project teams.
  • Risk Mitigation: Address people-side risks and resistance with proactive strategies.
  • Readiness & Evaluation: Assess readiness and present actionable insights.
  • Reporting: Keep senior leaders informed on progress and challenges.
  • Training Oversight: Manage training needs and mitigate related risks.
  • Adoption & Measurement: Track change adoption and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a change manager.
  • A strong background in enterprise applications and IT project implementations.
  • An understanding of Agile ways of working.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across complex, highly regulated environments.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI).
  • Experience leading change for major platforms: ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM (Salesforce), Manufacturing & Supply Chain (Oracle, Windchill), and Digital Transformation (AWS, Salesforce Commerce).
  • A background in medical devices or healthcare regulatory environments is highly regarded.
