Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing property claims within the community and supporting the insured throughout the claims process.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in property, building or insurance to take their career to the next level. As a Building Insurance Claims Specialist, you will have the autonomy to manage your own diary and appointments, working closely with stakeholders across insurers, brokers, builders, and customers.

The Role:

- Investigate claims processes, including interviews, reviewing reports, inspecting physical damage, and assessing all evidence gathered
- Effective handling of claims to manage loss costs and claims expense
- Providing advice to policyholders on their claims, progress, and insurance liability
- Demonstrating technical building knowledge through educating the customer throughout the claims process

About You:

- Relevant background or property claims experience desired
- Clear communicator who can build rapport with customers
- Willingness to travel across Regional QLD surrounding Sunshine Coast
