About this opportunity
This role involves working in a permanent part-time capacity, four days per week, based in the Parramatta CBD.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality individual, youth and family therapy to repair and strengthen family relationships and individual self-determination.
- Conducting family therapy using a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Providing child consultation as part of child inclusive practice.
- Developing, facilitating and promoting clinical group work programs.
About you
We require tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or equivalent.
A minimum of three years' experience delivering individual, youth, family and couples therapy is essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage high conflict individuals and families is required.
Competence in working with issues of family violence and child protection is expected.
Excellent communication, organisation and report writing skills are necessary.
Able to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
Candidate preferences: accredited post-graduate training in individual, youth or family therapy; eligibility for professional membership; experience working with court-ordered clients.
