Leading Hand Shopfitter Required for Dynamic Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced shopfitter to fill the role of Leading Hand and join our client's team in delivering high-quality shopfitting projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day installation of projects, including trade-through fit outs. This involves general supervision of trades and workers on site, ensuring that all personnel understand project expectations and any issues are promptly identified and resolved.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of projects, including trade-through fit outs
  • Supervision of trades and workers on site
  • Ensuring site personnel understand project expectations
  • Identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Purchasing materials and coordinating site deliveries
  • Enforcing company standards and documenting defects
  • Managing workload effectively
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Trade qualifications in shop fitting, cabinetmaking, or joinery
  • A current White Card
  • A valid driver's license
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in shop fitting
  • An ability to travel and live away from home for NSW projects (as required)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines
