The role of Business Development Manager is to cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders, drive revenue growth, and promote the benefits of our guided travel experiences.
About the Job- This position requires a proactive, self-driven approach to business, with a strong ability to develop personal relationships and build trust with clients.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, as the successful candidate will be responsible for presenting our products and services to potential customers, both domestically and internationally.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, a Bachelor's degree, and excellent relationship development and management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Selling guided travel experiences to clients, identifying potential growth areas, and opening new accounts.
- Developing long-term relationships with guests and travel professionals, promoting the benefits of our products and services.
- Traveling throughout their territory to support partner marketing efforts, present to potential travelers, and solicit new business.
- Maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in support of the organization's strategic priorities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or any combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A history of high levels of achievement and overcoming obstacles in business, academics, or athletics.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective communicator, and proactive approach to business.
- A growth mindset leading to continual development and self-sufficiency through problem solving and leveraging available resources.
