
Chief Financial Consolidations Specialist

The Consolidations and Reporting Specialist plays a pivotal role in the closing process, including assistance with corporate consolidation financial close, management of intercompany eliminations and reconciliations, coordination of quarterly schedule collections, performance of flux analysis, and provision of support for drivers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assistance with Global Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Close Process
- Preparation of Journal Entries, Roll-Forwards, and Support Schedules Integral to Completion of Company Financial Statements and Footnotes
- Reconciliation of Intercompany and Investment in Subsidiary and Other Related Transactions
- Analysis of Impact of Foreign Currency Translation on Financial Statements
- Assistance with Maintenance of Global Chart of Accounts
- Identification and Implementation of Process Improvements, Leveraging Technology and Automation for Efficiency
- Assistance with Annual Audits Conducted by External Auditors
- Application of Strong Understanding and Compliance with US GAAP on All Major Accounting Areas and Processes
- Demonstration of Positive Customer Service Focus to Both Internal and External Customers
- Ensurance of SOX Compliance by Adhering to Internal Control Requirements, Maintaining Updated Documentation, and Providing Recommendations as Appropriate
- Assistance in Special Projects and Other Reporting Needs as Required
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Related Field
- CPA or CPA Track Required, MBA a Plus
- Strong Understanding and Application of US GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls
- At Least 3 Years of Relevant Experience, Including 2+ Years in Consolidation, Financial Reporting, Intercompany Transactions, Account Reconciliations, and Multi-Currency/FX
- Strong Understanding of General Ledger and Consolidations Systems, Including Metadata Organization
- Experience with Financial Consolidation Systems, Particularly Oracle Cloud EPM FCCS, Beneficial
- Public Accounting/Audit Experience an Asset
- Familiarity with Multi-Entity Structures, Intercompany Transactions, and Foreign Currency Translation Essential
- Effective Relationship Builder with Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to Work Effectively in Fast-Paced Environments with Multiple Competing Deadlines
- Possession of Agility and Adaptability to Changing Priorities
- Strong Organizational Skills, Attention to Accuracy, and Detail Necessary
