Job Title: Reliable Heavy Vehicle Operator

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a reliable Heavy Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting fabricated structural steel to construction sites throughout the Brisbane and South Coast areas.

This role involves rigorous training and verification as part of your onboarding process to ensure safe operation of our trucks, forklifts, and HIAB cranes. Working closely with our builders and subcontractors on-site, you will develop strong professional relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fabricated structural steel to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Foster excellent customer service by working collaboratively with our builders and subcontractors.
  • Develop strong relationships with our clients through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Complete comprehensive training and verification to guarantee safe operation of company vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Holds a current HR Open Licence in good standing.
  • Possesses a forklift ticket, which is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of all NHVR laws.
  • Displays extensive experience in driving heavy vehicles, including operation of a HIAB crane and ability to perform multiple drops across SEQ.
  • Embody a safety-first mindset that aligns with our culture of prioritizing workplace safety.
