Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

You will work as part of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals.
Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants;
- Mentor, coach and supervise consultants to support their achievement of service delivery and billable minimum threshold;
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
- Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
- Work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
- Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Complete various assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments.
