About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with individuals who have illnesses, disabilities, or injuries and provide tailored support to help them achieve their goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing case management services to clients with manageable caseloads and support from rehabilitation assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes for injured workers
  • Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees
  • Collaborating with medical, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Conducting assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments

What you need to succeed:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • A current QLD driver's license and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
