Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves working collaboratively with injured workers, employers and medical professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Conduct case management, applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and provide support to employees and employers through vocational assessments, labour market research and injury prevention consultancy services.
- Work closely with colleagues across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare and Department of Veteran's Affairs, to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes for clients.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A professional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- The capacity to apply clinical knowledge to complex scenarios and think creatively to resolve issues.
