About the Role

The Australian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team in Townsville, QLD. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Townsville area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mobile, outreach, and centre-based case management support to clients with complex needs
  • Operate from a strength-based and capacity-building framework to promote social inclusion, human rights, participation, and consumer choice
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Work collaboratively with staff and clients from diverse backgrounds to ensure culturally sensitive and effective service delivery
Requirements
  • Sound casework and case management experience, including holistic assessment of client needs and development of case plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients at risk of homelessness who have complex needs
  • Experience in working competently with staff and clients from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Australian drivers' license
