Job Summary

Australian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team in Townsville, QLD. As a Case Manager, you will provide mobile, outreach, and centre-based case management support to individuals and families experiencing vulnerabilities in the Townsville area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic assessment of client needs and develop case plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Work directly with clients at risk of homelessness who have complex needs, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with staff and clients from diverse backgrounds, promoting social inclusion and human rights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program strategies and initiatives to address homelessness in the Townsville area.
Requirements
  • Sound casework and case management experience, including holistic assessment and case planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with clients at risk of homelessness who have complex needs.
  • Experience working with staff and clients from diverse backgrounds, with a focus on cultural competence and humility.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Australian driver's license.
