Domestic Violence Case Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Violence Case Manager to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a key member of our Supporting Recovery Local Care Team, you will provide high-quality case management to clients who have experienced domestic violence, family violence, and sexual violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and provide case management to adults, young people, and children to support recovery from mental health concerns related to trauma.
- Engage clients using strengths-based assessment tools to develop, implement, and review their plans and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and client records.
- Collaborate with partners across the sector, including housing, Centrelink, and medical services.
- Represent the organisation at interagency meetings and events.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years' experience working with complex case management, ideally with people who have experienced mental health concerns related to trauma.
- Experience supporting individuals and families where domestic violence, family violence, sexual violence, or child sexual abuse has been identified.
- An understanding of trauma-responsive practice and a goal-focused approach.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written skills in relation to note-taking and record-keeping.
- Experience using technology and electronic databases.
