Domestic and Family Violence Case Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caseworker to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a key member of our Supporting Recovery Local Care Team, you will provide high-quality case management services to clients who have experienced domestic and family violence, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-responsive practice, a goal-focused approach, and the ability to work with clients through all stages of engagement. You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, providing case management, and developing referral pathways to support clients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intake triage and assessment
- Provide case management to adults, young people, and children to support recovery of mental health
- Engage clients using appropriate strengths-based assessment tools
- Maintain excellent documentation and client records
- Conduct regular reviews to assess outcomes and barriers
- Assess client outcomes using health and wellbeing tools
- Work collaboratively with partners across the sector
- Represent the organisation at interagency meetings and events

Requirements:
- Qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, or related discipline
- At least 3 years' experience working with complex case management
- Experience supporting individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence
- Understanding of trauma-responsive practice and goal-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
