Reinsurance Specialist/Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reinsurance Specialist/Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reinsurance claims reporting, notification, and recoveries that support the strategic direction of the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the reinsurance market and related products, excellent numerical skills, and experience in a claim's role. They will also possess proficiency in Excel (intermediate level or above) and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver all reinsurance reporting requirements
  • Assist in review and improvement practices of reinsurance processes for continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Collate the company's reinsurance renewal information in accordance with schedule
  • Prepare reporting and statistical claims data information
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level or above)
