Insurance Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our risk advisory team. As a seasoned expert in risk and insurance, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on delivering critical insurable risk advice to the Victorian public sector.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of risk and insurance professionals to deliver strategic advisory services to clients.
- Building trusted relationships through empathy and delivering high-quality advisory services.
- Identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement within our client segments.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to deliver optimal risk transfer arrangements for the Victorian government.
- Collaborate with our Insurance, Claims, and other teams to design and deliver end-to-end insurable risk advisory services.
- Lead client engagements with our Claims Reduction Advisory and Harm Prevention teams to identify and communicate opportunities to reduce claims costs and frequency.
You will be responsible for providing a suite of transactional insurance services to support the ongoing maintenance of cover for clients. This includes:
- Enquiries and renewal services.
- Ministerial directions and machinery of government changes.
- New policies, endorsements, debt management, and general support services.
