With a focus on import seafreight, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Managing the end-to-end processing of Import Sea shipments, including job registration, pre-alerts, and documentation.
  • Overseeing critical tasks such as chasing and verifying paperwork, monitoring cargo status, and ensuring seamless customs clearance.
  • Coordinating local and interstate road/rail movements, liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
  • Processing sea cargo reporting, paying charges, organizing EDOs, and finalizing invoices for clients and overseas agents.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in freight forwarding operations with a focus on import seafreight.
  • Strong technical skills, including hands-on experience with CargoWise and MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
