Orthopaedic Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Surgical Expertise Partner for our Mako Robot, supporting orthopaedic surgeons in planning and executing robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements.

This opportunity allows you to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through cutting-edge robotic technology application.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as the theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgical teams.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Deliver ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong clinical expertise, analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Candidates may come from fields such as orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
