Surgical Innovation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our joint replacement team. This role offers a unique opportunity to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.

As a Robotic Surgery Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements. You will be the primary clinical expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of robotic platforms during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
