Product Specialist Role

This role involves supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Mako system technology.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during procedures;
  • Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of Mako robotic platform;
  • Conducting pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation for surgical case preparation;
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology;
  • Providing ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams;
  • Traveling across areas to support multiple hospital sites.
Requirements

This role is ideal for professionals with strong clinical backgrounds and passion for surgical innovation.

  • Orthopaedic clinical support experience;
  • Biomedical science/engineering background;
  • Medical device experience;
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience;
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure;
