About the Role

As a Robotic Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting surgeons in the planning and execution of joint replacement surgeries using advanced robotic systems. This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

You will be the primary clinical expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing real-time support during operations and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as an in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of robotic platforms during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across regions to support multiple hospital sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation. You may come from fields such as:

  • Orthopaedic clinical support
  • Biomedical science/engineering
  • Medical device experience
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
