Robotics Assistant Specialist
This is a unique opportunity to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of joint replacement surgeries using robotic-assisted systems. This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
The primary responsibilities of this role include serving as an in-theatre expert for joint replacement procedures, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of robotic platforms, conducting pre-operative CT-based planning, and maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques and anatomy.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation
- Relevant backgrounds may include orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, or human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
- Confidence in surgical/theatre settings
- Technical savvy with software and medical technology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with surgeons and hospital teams
- Adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure
