About the Role

This position works within the Nationwide Visiting Program and is responsible for the delivery of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) program in the community, providing a social connection service for older Australians.

Your Responsibilities

  • Train and support volunteers to ensure the program is run according to program guidelines and the Australian Red Cross policy.
  • Network with Aged Care Facility Co-ordinators, home care providers, volunteer agencies, and the local community to promote and expand the service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all volunteers, clients, their matches, and progress through their placement.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced online environment across multiple software platforms.
  • Demonstrated client-centred approach to your work and interactions.
  • Ability to support and coach volunteers and connect with the local community.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a virtual team and support other team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box to resolve volunteer and client concerns.
  • An Australian Drivers Licence.
