Seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our customer service team at Perth Airport Branch. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a background in the transport industry and experience working with CRM systems.

Job Overview

This leadership role is focused on delivering high-quality customer service while maintaining efficient department functioning. Key responsibilities include leading and coaching a high-performing team of customer service officers, resolving complex customer issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, prioritizing and delegating work tasks, ensuring timely actioning of customer queries and proactive reporting within company guidelines and KPIs. They will also develop and guide the team to achieve KPIs, ticket quality and data integrity in the CRM and telephony system.

In addition, the candidate will undertake leadership and management responsibilities including recruitment, team development, performance reviews and succession planning.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • A background in and understanding of the transport industry.
  • Professional experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with customers via email and telephone, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM system preferred.
  • Strong PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and ERP systems.
