The RoleWe are seeking a passionate and friendly individual to join our team as a Member Services Officer. As the heart of our business, you will provide important services such as sales, reception and merchandising to our members, casual users and potential new members.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting and Sales: Actively seek new business for the club, representing the facility and Genesis in a positive and professional manner.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone.
- Cash Handling and POS Systems: Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Program Promotion: Promote the centre's services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and enrolments.
- Team Goals and Targets: Achieve individual and team goals and targets as set out with an Assistant Club Manager and the Club Manager.
- Passion for Fitness: Have a passion for health and fitness.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar position is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Hold current First Aid & CPR Certification and Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check.
