Job Title: Associate / Associate Director - Defence

Are you a skilled and experienced quantity surveyor looking to take on a challenging role in the defence sector? We are seeking an Associate / Associate Director to join our team in Sydney, where you will lead high-profile projects and provide strategic guidance to our clients.

\

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading cost consultancy and contribute to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. As an Associate / Associate Director, you will be responsible for performing traditional quantity surveying functions, as well as providing commercial support to our team members.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Attending and facilitating client and consultant meetings\
  • Assigning project tasks and responsibilities\
  • Implementing and ensuring commercial processes are being adhered to\
  • Providing commercial support to team members\
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance processes\
  • Implementing and improving process and procedures\
  • General Quantity Surveying duties required to support service levels\
  • Building, mentoring and management of a small team of Quantity Surveyors\
    • \Qualifications and Skills:\
      • \
      • Formal QS, Civil Engineering or Construction Degree\
      • RICS/AIQS Membership\
      • DISP Security Clearance\
      • Demonstrated defence sector experience\
      • Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ CostX\
      • A demonstrated track record of winning and managing major projects\
      • Proven leadership potential\
