Job Role:

The Deputy Program Leader Air Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Electronic Warfare (EW) is responsible for leading programs supporting the defence of Australia.

  • Develop an Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) program strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Create delivery plans through consultation with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Apply science and technology expertise to design research activities addressing priority problems of strategic importance to Defence
  • Work across teams to define milestones, resources, risks, and work packages
  • Monitor and report on program delivery, governance, communications, budget, and benefits realised
  • Identify and resolve issues to ensure quality outcomes are achieved
  • Acquire support for successful delivery of Program projects and work-packages
  • Maintain and foster partnerships with clients, academia, and other organisations nationally and internationally
