The OpportunityAs a purpose-driven organisation making a positive impact on people's lives, we are seeking experienced claims professionals from New Zealand to join our growing team. Our claims teams play a vital role in coordinating, negotiating, and facilitating an injured worker's recovery through tailored support, guiding and supporting colleagues through mentoring and coaching.
Your Responsibilities- Proactively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve timely and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create effective return to work strategies.
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services.
- Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is essential.
- Current residence in New Zealand is mandatory for eligibility for relocation bonus.
- An empathetic and resilient approach to provide customer-centric support.
- A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy to manage stakeholder engagement.
