Join us as an Automation Engineer Graduate to optimise Goods-To-Person automation platforms in a high-output distribution centre.

Your Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role, ensuring the efficient operation of our automated systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maximising the efficiency and uptime of GTP and automation platforms
  • Supporting preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing
  • Collaborating with Engineering, DC Operations, and Planning to align labour and automation strategies
  • Analysing system and operational data to maximise output and ensure consistent lead times at lowest cost
  • Developing and improving scalable processes across low, medium, and peak demand periods
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Natural leadership qualities, demonstrated by leading a team even outside the workplace
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Familiarity with automation systems is a bonus
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/night)
