Pricing and Billing Analyst Role

We seek an experienced professional to drive the evolution of our billing, pricing, and forecasting platforms.

This key role plays a vital part in ensuring reliable, compliant, operations across critical energy systems.

  • Own billing, pricing, and forecasting applications to ensure seamless operations and continuous enhancements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SaaS vendors, handling performance, contracts, and escalations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, enhance processes, and provide effective solutions
  • Monitor and resolve system issues to proactively manage defects
  • Maintain data quality and provide insights to inform reporting and decision-making

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Business Analyst with a background in complex IT environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, along with excellent analysis, documentation, and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Energy C&I billing, pricing, and forecasting systems, as well as a solid understanding of billing system processes in a C&I context. Key areas of expertise include:

  • Network tariff integration
  • Pricing logic and validation
  • Invoice generation and delivery
  • Payment collections and reconciliation
  • Exceptions and dispute handling
  • Market compliance (e.g., AEMO, B2B obligations)
Key Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy or utilities sector, ideally with C&I billing, pricing, forecasting, or M2C systems
  • Proven background as a Business Analyst in complex IT environments
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Excellent analysis, documentation, and communication skills
