Pricing and Billing Expert

Key Position: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in the evolution and day-to-day support of our billing, pricing, and forecasting platforms.

  • Take ownership of billing, pricing, and forecasting applications, ensuring smooth operations and system enhancements.
  • Act as the key point of contact for SaaS vendors, managing performance, contracts, and escalations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements, improve processes, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Track and resolve system issues, ensuring defects are managed proactively.
  • Safeguard data quality and deliver insights to support reporting and decision-making.
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy or utilities sector, ideally with C&I billing, pricing, forecasting, or M2C systems.
  • Proven background as a Business Analyst in complex IT environments.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of AEMO, MSATS, B2B transaction flows, and NEM settlement processes.

Expertise with Energy C&I billing, pricing and forecasting systems along with solid understanding of the billing system processes in C&I context:

  • Network tariff integration
  • Pricing logic and validation
  • Invoice generation and delivery
  • Payment collections and reconciliation
  • Exceptions and dispute handling
  • Market compliance (e.g., AEMO, B2B obligations)
