Overview

Microsoft is seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Manager to lead the commercial management of APAC lease fitout projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the DCBM Manager and cost team to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery, while maintaining a high level of financial and contractual protection for Microsoft.

As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost analytics, providing commercial management support, and ensuring compliance with Microsoft's commercial processes and policies.

  • Commercial Management: Work alongside the DCBM Manager to commercially manage all projects in the region, ensuring that Microsoft's financial and contractual interests are protected.
  • Cost Analytics: Develop and maintain cost insights and cost analytics for lease fitout projects in the region, including cost KPIs and Power BI dashboards.
  • Commercial Support: Provide commercial management support to the projects, including detailed estimation, agreement of estimates with the lease provider, pay application assessment and approval, estimation of and commercial agreement of change orders, and final account agreement and closeout.
  • Procurement Management: Commercially manage the lease provider (LP) from liaison with our procurement office on RFP documents to final payments and agreement of the final accounts and paperwork.
  • Commercial Process Control: Review and develop commercial processes in the region, ensuring alignment with Microsoft's global commercial processes and policies.

As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of commercial specialists and working closely with other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of APAC lease fitout projects.
