Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the robotics department at a reputable hospital as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM).

  • As a senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for facilitating a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement and providing clinical operational direction for the unit.
  • Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with partners and use a customer service mindset to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based.
  • Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
  • Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake direct patient care as required.
  • Mentor staff.
Requirements
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience.
  • Experience in Scrub Scout/Robotics specifically.
  • Sound clinical knowledge.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive role modeling behaviors.
  • Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization.
