About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Equipment Service Manager to lead our workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and service activities for mobile equipment, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, sales representatives, and other business divisions.
  • Manage purchasing and quoting for parts and services, optimizing costs and efficiency.
  • Plan and facilitate workshop team meetings, providing guidance and leadership for workshop operations.
  • Maintain strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience leading and managing workshop teams and operations.
  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in quarry, mining, civil, trucks, or light vehicle equipment.
  • Strong focus on quality control and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to set and track workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including utilization, rework, and profitability.
  • Proactive approach with strong leadership skills and ability to engage stakeholders and customers professionally.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
