Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to perform maintenance and upkeep of locomotive fleet and mobile plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, inspect, and repair diesel-powered trucks, tractors, and other heavy equipment
  • Conduct regular servicing and maintenance programs
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
  • Provide guidance and leadership to apprentices and trainees
  • Collaborate with work coordinators on scheduling and task assignments
  • Ensure accurate completion of work orders and reports
Requirements

Candidates must hold a trade qualification as a diesel mechanic or be in their final year of apprenticeship. A current confined space entry certification and manual driver's license are also required.
