Heavy Diesel Equipment Technician

As a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of a fleet of underground mobile plant equipment.
- Ancillary equipment such as IT loaders, Telehandlers, Agi's & Spraymecs
You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy diesel equipment, perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs, conduct inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance, work collaboratively with the maintenance team to improve fleet reliability, maintain accurate service records and follow site safety procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
- Experience in underground mining maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
