Job Description

Elecseed seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in renewable energy and power distribution. The successful candidate will devise and deliver economical solutions to meet project requirements, ensuring all activities adhere to Australian standards.

This role involves managing projects from feasibility through to concept design, front-end engineering design, detailed design, construction documentation, commissioning support, and commercial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Apply electrical engineering principles to devise and deliver solutions
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Australian standards
  • Manage projects, including subconsultants and contractors
  • Produce and coordinate design documentation, specifications, plans, reports, and schedules
  • Prepare cost estimates and financial analysis on projects throughout various stages
  • Provide certification and approval of designs and documentation for tender and construction phases
  • Plan and manage resources to meet all deliverables, milestone achievements, and overall project outcomes
  • Apply risk management approaches to project management and continually track project risk
  • Maintain positive client relationships by conducting all work in a professional and productive manner
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8 years of relevant professional experience in the specialisation requested
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree accredited by Engineers Australia at the level of Professional Engineer
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and Australian construction safety induction (preferred)
