Renewable Development Opportunities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to contribute to the origination and early-stage development of renewable development projects. The successful candidate will provide support in site identification, screening, land access agreements, grid connection solutions, and early-stage planning processes.

The role requires strong community and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to build a robust business case for greenfield prospect sites. Proficiency in project management tools and analytical software is also essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a renewable energy professional who is keen to learn and grow with our organization. Key accountabilities include:

  • Supporting the Head of Origination and assisting the Head of Development to progress projects from site identification through to feasibility/planning studies.
  • Providing technical information and reports to support project development.
  • Negotiating landowner agreements and supporting consultation with local authorities.
  • Managing external consultants and stakeholders to undertake studies throughout the development process.
  • Producing Environmental Impact Statement documents and statutory applications required for project development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in project development or renewable energy.
  • Tertiary qualification in Renewable Energy, Planning, Environment, Geography, Business, Law, Engineering, or Science-related discipline.
  • Proficient communication and written skills, with analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project Management skills, including budget, schedule, and scoping experience.
