The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong understanding of financial principles and have experience in leading high-performing teams. They will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, driving profitability, and making analytical recommendations to the management team.

As the chief financial officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial future. Your expertise will help inform business decisions and drive growth. You will oversee the operations of the financial functions, working closely with management teams from group businesses to build highly effective departments focused on compliance and commercial growth.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing a team of direct reports and finance department processes
  • Preparing timely and accurate month-end financial reports, including monthly board reports
  • Creating weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting systems and information
  • Overseeing the year-end audit process
  • Developing monthly and annual budgets for the group
  • Providing financial analysis and modeling to support business decision-making
  • Ensuring timely compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory policies
  • Assisting with process improvement projects, including developing standard operating procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in management accounting roles, preferably with exposure to recruitment services
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in creating and leading high-performing teams
  • A solid grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
